How to Apply Sticky Eyeliner & FAQ

WHAT IS STICKY EYELINER?

Glad you asked! It is our 2 in 1 lash adhesive and eyeliner. It is latex free and is not like any traditional lash glue you've ever used before. Our product is meant to save you time and give you a mess-free lash application experience. Long gone are the days of squeezing out runny lash glue from a tube. Waiting for it to get tacky, only to smudge lash glue all over your natural and fake lashes as the lash band slips and slides on your eye lid. And the removal process, RIP to all the lashes that came out while  you were doing your night time routine. Have no fear, Sticky Eyeliner is here, this is how to use it:

STEP ONE: SHAKE LINER WELL

This is a crucial step in the application process. Make sure to shake the pen well. That is all. Onwards!

STEP TWO: APPLY THE LINER

For you liquid liner applying pro's this step is super easy for you. And for the rest of us, we'll try to keep our arm steady so we don't get a shaky line! There are plenty of methods to getting the perfect eyeliner (youtube tutorials anyone?) But, essentially you will draw a line as close to your lash line, as thick as the lash band on the lashes you are using (IMPORTANT!) Now if you are using our clear sticky eyeliner, you won't have to worry about drawing a perfect line, because the liner dries completely TRANSPARENT (you'll never even know it's there.)

Once you apply the first line and it dries, go in and apply one more coat! Now you may apply your eyelashes (If you need lash application help, read our guide here) and if you need help choosing a lash style check out our other guide  hereNow that you have your lashes one, take your finger or your lash applicator and gently press the lash band against the liner for a few seconds. This will help the adhesive bond to the lash band, and once it dries the lashes aren't going anywhere!

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

If you tend to use creams, sunscreens, and oil based/creme based products near your eyes or on your eyes OR you have oily eye lids, it can weaken the adhesive. This does not mean you wont be able to use our product BUT you may need to apply more OR you may need to touch up a little throughout the day. Try it out to see how it wears on your eyes before using it the first time at an important event! You need to make sure you know how to make it work best for you before you step out at a fancy event and realize your lash has come loose. Normally for most people 2 coats of Sticky Eyeliner is more than enough to keep those lashes on all day. But there are those of us who have very oily eye lids *raises hand* who need to powder down our eyelids with translucent powder or apply a little more product than usual to make sure my oily lids don't cut through every makeup product I apply.

CAN I USE MY OWN EYELINER WITH IT?

Absolutely you can! Some women like to use their own eyeliner under our product. You can definitely save your product by applying it just to the area where the lash will be applied over your own eyeliner.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE LINER?

For removal, you simply lift the lashes off from the outer corner as you would with any traditional lash glue. And to remove the eyeliner, you must use either an OIL BASED eye makeup remover or a WATERPROOF eye makeup remover! Our product is designed to last all day, not come off, and not smudge. So it's important to use an oil based remover to break down the bonds in the adhesive and pigment.

WILL I LOSE MY NATURAL LASHES?

This question gets asked A LOT. Because the liner is going on your eye lid and not directly on your lashes (as some runny traditional lash glues do) your natural lashes wont be harmed!

DOES THE STICKY EYELINER CONTAIN LATEX?

Not at all! So those of you with latex allergies can rejoice. Here are the ingredients for our Sticky Eyeliner: water, styrene/acrylates copolymer, CI77266, Butylene Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol

Always make sure to do a patch test if you tend to have sensitivities and are not sure if you could be allergic to any of the ingredients.

CAN I USE ANY STRIP LASHES, EVEN MAGNETIC?

This is another question we get asked a lot! YESSSSS! Our product can be used with any strip lash on the market, any price point, and any brand. As for magnetic lashes, our liner is not magnetic so the lashes wont magnetize to it BUT it is adhesive so the lashes will still stick.

HOW DO I CARE FOR THE LINER PEN?

Make sure to keep it clean! You may wipe the tip with a makeup remover wipe or a towel with some micellar water. When not in use, it's a good idea to store your liner pen upside down, that way the product doesn't sit at the bottom and dry out the pen. If the tip does dry out you can revive it by soaking the tip in some micellar water!

HOW MANY USES CAN I GET OUT OF THIS?

Our Sticky Eyeliner is good for 40-60 uses depending on how much you apply and the style of lash, and thickness of the lash band.

I LIKE THE BLACK LINER BECAUSE ITS SO BLACK AND DOESN'T SMUDGE, CAN I USE IT ALONE AS A LINER?

Absolutely you can! To avoid the eyelid being sticky you can use some translucent powder over the liner OR you can apply some black eyeshadow to the liner. The stickiness will grab to the eyeshadow and become even darker and matte!

LAST QUESTION, WHY WASN'T THIS INVENTED SOONER?

EXACTLY! But it's here now to make all our lives easier! If you haven't already, get yours BUY NOW!

I bought the clear first.Tried it with drugstore lashes. Wore them outside on a windy day. They stayed put! I told all my friends about it. I ordered the black so I could see the difference. Love this product!
